Meet our Board
Annie is a proactive and versatile Finance Director with a proven track record. Head of Finance at CityCo and The Heart of Manchester BID Company, Annie brings strong financial control and a strategic mind-set; transferable abilities and skills which are essential to the development of any business strategy. Annie was previously the Director of Finance and Commercial for Urbis in Manchester and has extensive experience of senior financial management roles across a number of sectors. Annie is responsible for all aspects of financial planning and risk management for Buump.
Niamh (Neo) is the Events and Partnerships Manager for Global athletic leader New Balance in the UK. Neo has a proven track record in delivering events innovation, having previously held the role of Events Engagement Manager for British Triathlon. Neo was responsible for the delivery of the New Balance partnership with the Virgin London Marathon from its inception in 2018 and holds the responsibility for this significant long-term partnership for New Balance alongside their UK events and partnerships portfolio. Neo’s commercial acumen, events experience and knowledge of the active market bring a much-needed skillset to the Buump Board.
Alexa is a highly skilled business development professional with particular experience of the Higher Education and Fundraising sectors. Alexa has held roles in peer support, change management, training delivery and the wider teaching and learning landscape. Most recently, she has been working at The University of Manchester within the Development and Alumni Relations team as a Senior Development Officer. She has proven experience of leading strategies, relationship management and income generation. Alexa’s project management and relationship management skills are a vital asset to Buump.
Rebecca McGoff (Founder)
Rebecca is the woman (and Mum) behind Buump. Inspired to create something which harnesses the technology of social, fitness and dating apps which will revolutionise the way women stay active after entering motherhood; Rebecca used her talent for income generation and business development to secure Sport England’s investment in Buump Active. Rebecca is a Business Development professional and for over a decade has used her talents for relationship development and income generation within the third sector. Rebecca is a forward thinking leader with a record for delivering fundraising innovation and delivering outstanding results from teams and individuals. Rebecca’s skills were recognised by her award of Business Development Professional of the Year at the 2015 Made in Manchester Awards; which celebrate the best of Manchester’s young business talent up to the age of 35. Rebecca was also recognised as Jo Malone, CBE’s inspirational woman in Glamour UK Magazine’s International Women’s Day feature in 2015.

Buump Active exists to enable active women to remain active as they enter motherhood. It promises women the opportunity to retain a key part of their identity at a time it could so easily disappear and to achieve goals, be celebrated and recognised and empowered. Buump Active aligns with Sport England’s five outcomes of physical wellbeing, mental wellbeing, individual development, social and community development and economic development to help create an active nation.
